Title: Public Theater poster, Todd Roeth

The poster produced by Todd Roeth incorporates a lot of different design elements but produces one singular objective of displaying readable text with a creative lay out. The artist uses what is know as a spontaneous placement of words of different sizes around an image of a man jumping in the air. The words not only display useful information, but also captures the audiences attention with how they are uniquely displayed. The background is colored yellow with black text all through the poster itself.

With regards to the process of textual graphic design, the poster brings out a functional purpose of conveying information to a captured audience, but it does so in a fashion that is superbly unique in design elements. It is almost as if the artist put the placement of the letters by chance, and in doing so, ironically, has converted the design into a somewhat orderly fashion. It is almost at a controlled sort of chaos with the certain juxtaposition of words.
