Title: Staedelschule Website
Artist: Wolfgang Schmidt

The work is consisted of a multitude of geometric possibilities by employing a color range of pink. A picture of a geometric object is located in the middle of the layout providing the emphasis from the viewer. Text is surrounding the middle of the picture displaying a varying degree of information.

The overall design of this website is a prime example of the spontaneous geometric composition. The color ranges draw the attention of the viewer, and the simple text layout around the geometric composition located in the middle gives a simple but very appealing look in terms of clean and functional form.

Title: Nipple Clthing Graphics
Artist: Luca Napoli

The design titled Nipple Clthing, by Luca Napoli is actually a clothing design template created as a universal design made for both men and women. It incorporates the use of three different colors in a spatial spontaneous contemporary design. There is a face in the middle of the design along with some kind of symbol located on the lower right hand side of the template.

The design used in this type of template uses some of the elements of spontaneous geometric design, but also has a clear emphasis of the design logo located in the middle of it. The unique placements of the random shapes and lines, along with the blending of the colors only adds to the clean overall lay out. The juxtaposition and choice of colors is quite extraordinary and though it does not convey a message, the design template used is very effective with regards to aesthetic purposes.

The Vignelli subway map is very simple, but the overall design of it is very unique and monumental with regards to the basics of textual design. The idea of being functional while also expressing creativity is a very important concept to establish when making a design to adhere to form and function.

Title: Public Theater poster, Todd Roeth

The poster produced by Todd Roeth incorporates a lot of different design elements but produces one singular objective of displaying readable text with a creative lay out. The artist uses what is know as a spontaneous placement of words of different sizes around an image of a man jumping in the air. The words not only display useful information, but also captures the audiences attention with how they are uniquely displayed. The background is colored yellow with black text all through the poster itself.

With regards to the process of textual graphic design, the poster brings out a functional purpose of conveying information to a captured audience, but it does so in a fashion that is superbly unique in design elements. It is almost as if the artist put the placement of the letters by chance, and in doing so, ironically, has converted the design into a somewhat orderly fashion. It is almost at a controlled sort of chaos with the certain juxtaposition of words.
